Meet Your Empowered Self

Recognize how and where you give away your power.

Meet Your Empowered Self

“Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.” -Goethe

In its simplest form, Self-Empowerment means taking charge of your own life and not giving your power away to others. It seems that if we really want to have dominion over our own lives, we should be making choices and decisions that support such autonomy. This seems fairly obvious, and yet, this is not the way many people live. In fact, it is more common to see people making choices and behaving in ways that actually hinder their ability to experience any sovereignty in their lives. Instead of being their own authority, they give their power away to others and deny themselves the opportunity to make the kinds of choices and decisions that would bring them into alignment with the kind of life they want to live. In this workshop, we will explore what it takes to “take charge of your life.”

We invite you to join our Indigo Herd as we learn about the power that exists within each of us. When we can claim this power for ourselves instead of giving it away to others, we become a beacon of strength, our courage lighting the way for others to do the same.

Self-Empowerment is not just a given—It’s a process. We must actively pursue the claiming of our own power. To do this, we must first be willing to recognize when and how we give our power away. We must also be willing to go beyond just recognizing when we give away our power, by becoming more aware of how we disconnect from our power. This is necessary in order to reclaim it. The first step towards reclaiming our power involves taking responsibility for our lives and the experiences in our lives. This is how we begin to take dominion over our life. The next element necessary to this process is trust. When we are able to trust ourselves, we become the decision-makers for our own lives, and this is how we begin to live in alignment with our truth.

Because horses have such an innate ability to reflect back to us our own feeling and emotional states, they are able to accelerate our ability to go through this process of awareness and growth. Through a series of on the ground activities with the horses, you will learn to:

  • Recognize how and where you give away your power.
  • Gain greater understanding about how and when you disengage and disconnect from your internal power.
  • Consider taking more responsibility for the events and experiences in your life, understanding that the more you are able to take responsibility for your life, the less you become a “victim of circumstance” and the more you will be able to take control of your life.
  • Understand the role that self-trust plays in allowing you to make self-empowering decisions.

This is a one-day workshop. 9am to 5pm. Includes drinks, snacks, gourmet lunch and all workshop materials. This program is limited to six participants. All activities with the horses are on the ground (no riding activities). No previous horse experience is necessary. Hard, closed toed boots or shoes are required. Price: $265.00 per person. Book your time above.
